Join us for a VGC Premier Challenge! The tournament will start at 11am, with team list submission from 10:30am to 11am.
Entry is $10 for players in all age divisions. Prizing will be announced at the event, with prizing varying based on attendance - the best placing team in each age division that includes a Pokemon with a Weather changing ability will receive extra prizing! Top finishers will earn Championship Points toward an invitation to compete at the World Championships.
This tournament will follow the VG Single Day structure as detailed in the Tournament Rules Handbook, meaning multiple rounds of Swiss potentially followed by a single elimination top cut. Swiss rounds will be best of 1, and Single Elimination rounds will be best of 3. The number of rounds will be based on number of players in the event. This event will follow the current tournament ruleset.
What should I bring?
* Your Player ID number. If you don't have a Player ID, you can create one at https://club.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-trainer-club/play-pokemon/setup/ .
* A filled out team list. A blank team list can be found at https://judgeball.com/teamlist - there will be blank lists available at the tournament as well.
* A fully-charged and updated system in the Nintendo Switch family of systems.
* A copy (physical or digital) of Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, updated to the latest version, with a team of four to six eligible Pokémon.
* Yourself! Make sure you arrive on time. If you are late, you may not be able to play in the event, so make sure to arrive in time to submit your list!
