Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal Virtual Console Tournament

GSC: Party like it's 1999! Pull together a team of Pokémon in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console releases of Pokémon Gold, Silver, or Crystal, and come battle in the Nintendo Cup 2000 format, also known as Poké Cup.

This is a 3v3 ruleset where all Pokémon must be between levels 50 and 55, and the three Pokémon you choose to use can't have a combined level of over 155. And of course, it's Single Battle, as Double Battles didn't exist yet!

Entry is $5, with prizing to be announced (the more players, the more prizes!).

Team Construction
• Players may use any Pokémon from the National Pokédex except for Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Lugia, and Celebi.
• A team must be comprised of six Pokémon. All Pokémon must be between levels 50 and 55. When picking three Pokémon for each battle, the combined level of the three Pokémon must equal 155 or less.
• Each Pokémon may hold an item, though no two Pokémon may hold the same item.
• A player’s team cannot contain two Pokémon with the same National Pokédex number.

Players are required to provide a legible and accurate list of all six Pokémon that comprise their team. All Pokémon information provided on the team list will be made available to the opponent except for the Pokémon’s stats (Speed, etc.).
